Some of us at RAND just learned of Dez transition. I met Dez years ago in the old RAND building when he was a PRGS Student. He has such a Warm Spirit and was always offering ecouraging words. He was so instrumental in supporting our first grass roots lunch time Black History presentation. He has left some wonderful foot prints to follow. When I think about Desmond now I'm reminded of my favorite poem that I often share by Maya Angelou:
“I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Desmond was a jewel and I am sure he is sitting at the feet of the master discussing how he can still change things down here.
